2. Client Responsibilities
As a client of HerBalance Bookkeeping, you agree to:

- Promptly notify us of any changes to your financial situation or business operations that may affect our services.
- Pay all invoices in a timely manner as outlined in your service agreement.
3. Payment Terms
- Monthly/Quarterly Services: Payment for monthly or quarterly services is due at the beginning of each month or quarter.
- Cleanup Bookkeeping: Payment terms for cleanup services will be outlined in your specific service agreement.
- Setup Bookkeeping: Payment for setup services is typically due upon completion unless otherwise specified.
- Hourly Bookkeeping: Hourly services will be billed based on the actual hours worked, with payment due within 15 days of the invoice date.
4. Confidentiality
HerBalance Bookkeeping is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your financial information. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your financial data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data transmitted over the internet.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HerBalance Bookkeeping shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, you agree to pay for all services rendered up to the termination date. HerBalance Bookkeeping reserves the right to terminate services immediately for non-payment or breach of these Terms.
8. Amendments
HerBalance Bookkeeping reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which HerBalance Bookkeeping operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
